About Me

My name is Megan...and simply stated...I love weddings. I love what they represent and appreciate every detail that goes into making your wedding day a perfect start to the rest of your life. I decided to write this blog, because even though my wedding is done...I learned a lot, have a lot to share and have an honest approach to help the everyday bride succeed in throwing the wedding of their dreams...and everything that follows.

Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal dinner guest list can include just the two of you, your immediate families and the wedding party. Or, it can be a larger event, including all the out-of-town guests, it's up to you. The reason many couples do include out-of-towners (especially when the rehearsal dinner is the night before) is so they're not left stranded in their hotel rooms. It's all about being a good hostess. However, if you don't invite them, you can include a list of restaurants or things to do in the area on your wedding website.

If you want to go for something a little different and invite more people (while not breaking the bank) you can make it less formal (appetizers and drinks only) and present it more like a 'Getting to Know Eachother' cocktail party.
