About Me

My name is Megan...and simply stated...I love weddings. I love what they represent and appreciate every detail that goes into making your wedding day a perfect start to the rest of your life. I decided to write this blog, because even though my wedding is done...I learned a lot, have a lot to share and have an honest approach to help the everyday bride succeed in throwing the wedding of their dreams...and everything that follows.

No-shows

Although its said that you can expect at least 10% of your guest list to be no-shows (closer to 20 if its a destination wedding) you still need to error on the side of caution. When creating your guest list you need to imagine that everyone is going to RSVP yes. Then if your final headcount is lower than you expected, great -- you'll be able to pass that number on to your caterer, rental company, and so on, and the money is still yours. Or, if you have a "b-list" you can begin sending out those invitations.
